BRITFILMS FILM CRITICS COMPETITION

And the winner is…
All winning entries of the BRITFILMS Film Critics Competition including the jury's reasoning are available here.

What’s the Idea?
BRITFILMS calls upon all students aged 8 to 20 to participate in the BRITFILMS FILM CRITICS COMPETITION with reviews of films of their choice. A jury evaluates the submissions and chooses a monthly winner. The winner’s review will be presented on www.britfilms.de and the BRITFILMS Facebook page. The winners will be awarded with a “BRITFILMS Surprise Bag” including DVD´s, books and British treats.

Who can take part?
All students aged 8 to 20 can apply.

What kind of film can I write about?
Reviews can be about any kind of possible movie: films from the BRITFILMS program, your favourite films, current films, film classics, films you like, and films that made you angry. You can choose to write about movies that are not in English. Two important things to remember: The review has to be in English and should be no longer than 3,000 characters.

How do I write a film review?
You can pick up some ideas on how to write a film review from our pdf, “How to write a film review”. But many different approaches are possible.
